Tourism is the leading industry in Florida,
and sports tourism is a significant segment of that market. As Miami prepares
to host the Super Bowl in 2020 (the record-setting eleventh time the city has
hosted the event), south Florida again becomes the center of sports tourism in
America. Our interactive panel includes industry professionals ready to share
insights on the economic, legal and cultural impact of sports tourism; the
impact of major events on areas such as lodging and small businesses; the most
popular types of sports tourism in Florida; and historical future developments
in the field.
